Last Friday, the Fenn Varsity Soccer team went out against the Shore Country Day School. The Shore school is a big rival of Fenn's and it just so happens that the assistant head coach of the team used to be a Fenn soccer player.
Star, the teams head coach said on Thursday, "all Shore cares about during their season is if they beat Fenn."
The Shore school had a strong team last year. Leading the team was a strong forward and goalie who both thankfully graduated. So the Fenn boys were really excited to beat them.
The game started a little slow. Shore and Fenn split the possesion for about the first part of the opening half. And thats when it happened.
One after the other Fenn scored keeping most of the possession and creating many scoring opportunities.
At the end of the game Fenn took the win 5-0. Goals were scored by Garren, Zack (2), Kevin, and Thatcher.
As they say in All School Meeting, "it was a good game by all."
Congrats Fenn and good luck tomorrow against Fay!
