Heading Home Begins Once Again!

Heading Home (HH) provides emergency, transitional and permanent housing to low income formerly homeless families around the Greater Boston area. Heading Home has been around for about eight years now and has just started its partnership with Fenn. The Ewing family (a Fenn family) began working with Heading Home a while back and thought that it would be amazing if Fenn boys began helping out with the organization. On an average there are two to three moves that HH does during the year and Fenn boys play a big role in transition. They paint walls, set up and make furniture, set up decorations and do other amazing things to help make the coolest house they possibly can. Kids say the best part about Heading Home is when the homeless family or individual sees the house for the first time and bursts into tears. They say that it brings happiness to them because they know in their hearts they are helping those who are in need. On Friday, six Fenn boys made an announcement during All School Meeting and informed the school that in late November they will have their first move of the year!
